Abstract: Recently unbalanced optimal transport problems and various generalized Wasserstein distances on the space of finite measures have been introduced and studied by various authors. In this talk, we will present the existence, uniqueness of barycenters in Hellinger-Kantorovich spaces and generalized Wasserstein spaces. We also characterize Hellinger-Kantorovich barycenters via homogeneous multimarginal problems. These are joint works with Minh-Nhat Phung and Thanh-Son Trinh.
