Abstract: This is a short series of lectures on the geometry of some metric spaces.We shall define hyperbolicity (in the sense of Gromov) using triangles only and then derive some consequences on the structure the spaces. It is elementary in the sense that all notions will be defined and it is certainly suitable for undergraduate students.
